This website is operated by Anisa – The Online English Teacher, a UK-based sole trader. The site offers English language learning resources and allows users to purchase and schedule online English lessons.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and downloadable materials, is the property of Anisa – The Online English Teacher unless otherwise stated. You may use the materials for personal, non-commercial purposes only. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

4. User Conduct

You agree to use this website responsibly and not to:

  • Engage in any unlawful or fraudulent activities.

  • Transmit any harmful or malicious software.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website or its systems.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Purchasing Lessons

  • All lessons must be paid for in full prior to the start of the lesson.

  • Lessons are sold as digital products through this website.

  • Payments are processed securely via Stripe.

  • After purchase you will receive a PDF confirmation containing:

    • A description of the purchased lesson.

    • A link and QR code to schedule your lesson via Calendly.

    • A copy of the relevant contract and terms.

  • Please ensure you read the Student Policy and Terms and Conditions before making a purchase.

11. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Cancellations must be made at least 8 hours before the scheduled lesson.

  • Classes should be cancelled or rescheduled using the original link provided. If student is unable to access the link for any reason, an email must be sent to the tutor (Anisa@theonlineenglishteacher.co.uk) stating that you wish to cancel the session, with the session's details (time and date of session, students full name).

  • Refunds are not provided for missed lessons without prior notice. If the student does not attend the session and no notice is given, the session will not be rebooked and no refunds issued.

  • If the tutor needs to cancel, no refunds will be issued, but the session will be rebooked at a time that suits both.

  • if the tutor needs to cancel with less than 72 hours' notice, a free 30-minute session will be offered.

  • We offer a no-questions-asked 14-day refund policy on all single and package sessions. If a lesson has been booked and attended, the refunded amount will be minus £20 for initial consultation and the cost of the session attended, based on a single session.
